EUROPEAN SPORTS VIEWING FALLS BY 91%
Sports viewing is down 91% across Europe, according to research by streaming intelligence company Conviva. Sports usually accounts for around 30% of viewing, but since the coronavirus pandemic has halted all live sports, sports viewing has plummeted dramatically.

PREMIER LEAGUE WAGE CONTROVERSY
Announcement of preferred 30% pay cut left players stunned by the failure to consult the Professional Footballers’s Association regarding the reduction, while plans to furlough staff at various clubs have come with terrible timing for the prolonged talks. The 20 Premier League captains were at first stunned, and then apoplectic. The mood has not changed much since, and could have significant repercussions.
